A "MUST" - this hike to the mountain lake is unbeatable
Walk from Maloja to the children's playground (Aela valley station) and follow the signs to Lake Cavloccio. At the Salecina vacation home, cross the bridge and follow the slightly ascending path to Lake Cavloccio.
We also recommend taking the detour via Lake Bitabergh, which starts at the Orlegna protective wall (challenging hiking trail plus 3/4 hours). From there, continue to Lake Bitabergh. After a short rest, you can hike directly to Lake Cavloccio.
Our tip:
Refresh yourself in the clear mountain lake after a barbecue (various campfire sites).
