We are delighted that you are interested in staying with us. To help you plan your trip and answer any questions you may have in advance, we have created this FAQ page for you. Here you will find answers to common questions about our rooms, amenities, reservations and other services. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact our friendly team. We are here to help you and make your stay unforgettable.

Sayings on the Schweizerhaus façade

Qui chaque année à Maloja viendra, longtemps sur terre restera. (Whoever comes to Maloja every year will live a long time)

Breakfast and meal times

Breakfast: 07.30 to 10.30 in the panorama room

Restaurant open throughout the day:
12.00 - 14.30 and 17.45 - 21.00 large menu
small menu with hot and cold dishes in the afternoon

Ski and bike room

We have a ski and bicycle room in the Pöstli and in the Schweizerhaus.

Garage / E-tank

We have free parking outside and an underground garage for a fee. We also have an electric charging station (CHF 10.00 per charge).

Dogs and pets

Would you like to take your dog or pet with you on vacation? Welcome to our dog-friendly hotel!
Whether one, two, three or more dogs: Your four-legged friends stay in your hotel room for FREE!
Just remember: the more dogs, the bigger the room should be! So it's a good thing that we also have rooms larger than 20 m2!
We also always have a small biscuit ready for your dog(s).

Dogs are also allowed in the restaurant, but not in the Panorama Room (our breakfast room). Thank you for your understanding.

Shopping facilities

In Maloja there is a latteria where you can buy food and homemade cheese, a sports store (Giacometti Sport) and a kiosk opposite the hotel.

Drugstore

Drogheria Girasole is located in Vicosoprano in Bregaglia and is open from Monday to Saturday. It also delivers to the hotel on advance order.

Hotel Schweizerhaus and Pöstli:

  • Check-In: 14.00 - 21.00 (if you arrive later, please call us).
  • Check-Out: 12.00 noon.

Vacation apartments:

  • Check-In: 16.00 to 21.00 hrs.
  • Check-out: 07.00 - 10.00 am.
